{Idaho Falls Child Photographer} Nathan

Nathan. 3 years old. Sweet. Funny. Sincere. His mama is a good friend of mine--she sometimes babysits for me while I'm doing sessions. But since her amazing vinyl business took off, she's not nearly as helpful to me these days. : ) We've been planning on doing Nathan's pictures with a truck for years now. Sad, huh? We both live crazy busy lives--which we have created and we love. So we decided to put her boy on the calendar and no matter what, we were shooting. It turned out to be a nasty day, and before the rain fell, we took pictures for about 6 minutes. Not even kidding. And really, we didn't need another minute. Nathan did fabulous!

These boys were easy as pie in the studio. Cole is 4 going on 24. The kid is so smart and answered the questions before his mama could! And Easton was sweet and quiet. I went to high school with their mom and had a great time catching up after the session.

This is Alice. She's 5 days old in these pictures and she's absolutely adorable! Her mama recently had a maternity session with me and I was so looking forward to meeting her newest angel. This baby came just at the right time--while Daddy was home from working out of town and after Grandma arrived from Virginia. And I'll say it again . . . because I can't NOT say it . . . I love my job!

Lucky Me. Logan's mom chose me to capture her entire first year and I've loved every session. It's been so fun to watch her little personality emerge. She was full of funny expressions during this session--including her "crusty" look, as her big sister calls it. Ha! I love it!

So Braxton is 2 years old AND he's a new big brother. That's a perfect equation for meltdowns in the studio. But guess what? He was a champ and did so great the entire time with not even the slightest whimper. He even held the baby which is pretty tricky sometimes. And Miss Braylee--she's as perfect as a baby can be. Alyvia is a 7 month old sweetheart from Vegas. She has some crazy-mama hair . . . it sticks straight up no matter what. We have crazy baby hair at our house too, so I love it! It's obvious that the flower pot was Alyvia's favorite part of her photo shoot! Is it mean that I totally love crying baby pictures? They're almost as fun as the giggling ones. : )

Maternity sessions mean serious fun for me. I'm always amazed at the true miracle of life. The soon-to-be mommies are full of excitement and joy--and probably a few other feelings mixed in there as well. Pregnancy--be it an easy one, a difficult one, an unexpected one, or a long awaited one--is only temporary. The miracle of a kicking, stretching, hiccuping baby only lasts a small moment. And then the real fun begins when I get my hands on those newborns in my studio!! Gabrielle, I can't wait to meet your little girl in a few weeks!
