{Idaho Falls Maternity Photographer} Coming soon . . .

I love having a pregnant belly. There's nothing like feeling a baby move, roll, push, and grow. The miracle of life never ceases to amaze me. I'm now at the point in my pregnancy that the doc could decide to take the baby any day or week.

I decided not to do maternity pictures of me this time around. Since Alyssa was a whole 5 months old when I became pregnant this time, it didn't give me any time to lose her baby weight. And to make it even more unfair, I GAIN weight when I nurse my babies. I despise those stories of women who lose every ounce due to breastfeeding. Whatevs. The only thing that makes up for it is I don't get stretchmarks.

This week, the thought of not having any pictures of my belly made me sad--I didn't even have a snapshot. So I dragged my hubby into the studio for a couple shots. He's a good sport . . . and he tries. But at the end of my whole 3-minute session, there was only 1 shot that was decent enough to post. The good news is that one is all I really needed.
And because this little busy body can't ever be left out, she was right in the middle of it all. I'm glad Brad caught this candid moment. I get a lot of looks when we go to the store and I'm carrying a 13 month old and I am about ready to pop with another one. The old ladies smile at me as if they remember "those days". And most of the men do a double take.
This pregnancy was definitely a surprise--one that I would have never thought possible. Yet we are thrilled about this "bonus" and excited to add more love and happiness to our family.

{Idaho Falls Child Photographer} Cole

Cole just turned 2 and is a bundle of energy. I absolutely LOVE photographing him and his siblings. First, they are all adorable. Second, their mama is one of my favorite people. And third, they are adorable. : )

This was technically Cole's session, but older brother Logan was disappointed at the idea of not getting his pics taken this time, so he stepped in for a few. This kid has been in my studio so many times that he knows how to work it. He was in front of my camera for less than a minute. Not even kidding. Little Savannah already had her three month session, but we snuck in a few this time in her blessing dress. Beautiful.

{Idaho Falls Child Photographer} Dylan

Whoa, what have I been doing for the last 2 weeks? Nesting, that's what. Not sitting at the computer or blogging, or editing, but doing a lot of cooking, cleaning, organizing, sewing, etc. Oh, and then there's the 3 doctor appointments each week! I have no idea when this baby may appear. We're almost 35 weeks now and my others were each born at 36, 37, and 38 weeks. Maybe this one will make us wait all the way until 39 weeks. But I'm feeling great and happy about all the progress that's been made on my to do list!

So here is Dylan. He is 7 years old and was pretty determined that pictures were NOT going to be fun. However, that tough attitude disappeared after a few minutes and we had a great time with some smiles and even giggles. I even have the pictures to prove it!

Sorry, mama, but he looks so grown up! It's exciting to see kids change, but it can also be so sad at the same time.

{Idaho Falls Child Photographer} Little Miss Sunshine

Awww, this baby is the cutest ever! I can't believe she's already a year old. She looks so grown up in her little jeans. We brought Daddy in the studio this time and wow, what a difference. She still hated the fluffy skirts, but I managed to get one where she was distracted for a second. I didn't bother with a cake in the studio. She wouldn't even touch the one she had on her birthday.

This little girl knows how to light up a room. She's funny . . . and she knows it! Alyssa smiles at everyone she sees and she loves to say "hi" every time she sees someone, anyone. We love this girl so much!

{Idaho Falls Baby Photographer} Anaiya

Anaiya is now a big one-year old girl! She was excited about the cake . . . until she dug into it. I love how traumatic it can be for some babies. Doesn't this girl have the most gorgeous chocolate eyes?!? So sweet.
