Oh, how I love Jill's kids! Yes, they are beautiful, but they're also sweet and SO photogenic. And Jill does a fantastic job with their clothes. Since they live in Utah, this was my first time to meet little Xander--and he's just so perfect. When I saw Jack walking up the sidewalk just after they arrived, I almost ran out and gave him a big hug. Every day I feel so blessed to do my job . . . but photographing ALL 3 of Jill's kids made me so grateful. You see, Jack nearly lost his life this summer in an accident. His survival was a miracle and so I felt very honored to be in the presence of such a special boy. And Miss Jaycie--that girl was workin' it for the camera. She was telling me where she wanted the chair and which backdrop. Nothing wrong with a girl knowing what she likes!

These beautiful kids belong to one of my dear friends. They came up to play this summer and let's just say that Grant was less than thrilled to interrupt his play time for a little studio time. I love this picture with his mama. It's no wonder where these kids get their beautiful eyes. Miss Mercedes is 5 and she LOVED having her pictures taken. Afterward she said it was so much fun--which means goal accomplished for me!

Oh my goodness, look at these adorable kids!! They all have beautiful smiles and I die every time I look at this baby's curls. All three kids were so pleasant and fun to shoot. Am I lucky, or what?!

Look who's 6 months old now!

I bought this cute old trunk from an antique store, and as always I was rushing to finish all my errands. After I was home and in the studio, I opened the trunk for the first time--and was pleasantly surprised to see the adorable interior! It definitely called for the cutest model I could find. She's a bit stubborn with the smiles--a cold, an ear infection, and teething can do that to a little one! However, she did grace me with some cute faces blowing raspberries. Smiles or not, she's just so perfect.

I met this cute family when we did a maternity shoot and we always have a great time at their sessions. They live in Arizona now, but still come to Idaho for visits. I'm honored that I'm included in their visit!! Bonnie, here's the proof of what I promised: No one would ever know that your two year old behaved . . . well, like a two year old!

{Idaho Falls Newborn Photographer} Rowan

Isn't this girl a beauty?? Baby Rowan was so delightful--and I LOVE her name. She was tiny, curly, and sleepy. She moved between poses easily so her mama and I just chatted the session away while we worked. Although not much work was involved!

Got one!

I discovered that this baby will hold still in my studio for 2 seconds if its not her turn. I was photographing some cute little kidlets that belong to my good friend when Alyssa decided she didn't want to miss out. She toddled straight into the studio and plopped down on the crate I was trying to convince another little boy to sit on. And she gave me this face:

It's indescribable . . . and pretty much impossible to say what this face means to me. It's no wonder she has all of us wrapped around her cute little finger!

I know time goes fast for everyone--well, everyone that's a grown up, that is! But seriously these cute kids come back to see me in just what seems like a few months, and it's always a shock to realize it's actually been a few years! I've had the pleasure of photographing this little man since he was a newborn. Now he's a 2 year old with a megawatt smile--Oliver is a sweet, happy boy.

This little beauty is Savana. She was almost a whole month old at the time of her session--which means she's had time to figure out that she doesn't like to be curled into a ball anymore. However, with some patience and a bit of hard work, we ended up with some beautiful images.
