Cooper, Libby, & Melody

I think I could gaze into this baby love's sweet face all day long! Little Melody is just as cute and sweet as her older siblings. And their mama, she's just one of those people I love. So grounded and peaceful. And she's so much fun at the same time. She "zones" me and I can't wait for my next session with her! Melissa, thanks for letting me photograph your 3 sweets!

Cooper & his crew

If ever a little boy was loved and adored--it's this one! He's the youngest of 5 boys and they are all head over heels in love with their baby brother. Not to mention that his parents are over the moon about their newest boy. I'll admit, I wasn't sure what to expect when I heard that there would be 5 boys in my studio. But it was so much fun--such a great family. I hope Cooper's fan club enjoys the preview! Obviously, I had a hard time choosing what to post. : )

Lexie, Kenzie, & Fam

These two cuties were so cooperative we made it through their session in no time. I'm loving little Kenzie's set of teeth on the bottom. So cute!

Bronson

Remember little man Bronson? Well, he's big stuff now and his beautiful mama brought him back for his 6 month session. Such a handsome little man!

Abigail

Beautiful Abigail. She was born on Valentine's Day, and was almost 5 weeks old at her session! Definitely a once in a blue moon baby to be so cooperative for a newborn shoot at that age.

Abigail is such a miracle and a blessing--as is every baby. I'm amazed at the strength of the mothers I meet. Being a photographer is so much more than a job to me. One of the best parts is meeting all the awesome, wonderful, sweet, fun people! Abigail's parents were all of those things. : )

Brazen

Beautiful little Brazen had the perfect session. He had awake shots, sleepy shots, in Daddy's hands shots, and some with props. He didn't even make any messes in my studio (and that rarely happens with newborns). And I'm sorry, but I had to call him beautiful instead of handsome. He's such a pretty baby that it's justified! Congrats to his mommy and daddy who waited a long time to hold this sweet boy. I feel so honored that parents trust me to capture their delicate new babies!!

Newborns

Sometimes people (mostly men) ask why I take pictures of newborns. They say "Most new babies look like little aliens". Then they have a baby of their own and somehow their opinion changes. It's so much fun to see parents in awe of a new baby.

A newborn is only a newborn for a minute. The wrinkly skin. The sleepy gazes. The tiny fingers. The fuzzy ears and shoulders.

In less than 3 months, my baby has changes from this:

And although each new stage is just as exciting as the last one, it's fun to to have a reminder of just how fragile and tiny she once was.















Because once that stage has passed, there's no going back. Except when I get lost in the pictures that captured it.

My sessions are limited and even though I try to fit everyone in, it's just not possible. If you are expecting and wanting to schedule a newborn session, please call me with your due date to ensure a spot in the schedule!
