Abigail

Little Abigail is 10 days old (I did her session today) and isn't she perfect?? She put up a fight to stay awake for quite awhile. And then exhaustion took over, and so did I! Abigail's parents are from Texas and are the nicest people. It made me miss living in Houston--the nice people, the good food, the warm weather, oh, and the good food. : )

This next shot of Abigail was taken on a special blanket made by her great grandmother.

Taylor

Cutie pie Taylor is almost 9 months old and she's such a mild happy baby. She had a variety of expressions to share at her session--everything from kissy lips, to smiles, to piggy faces. And lucky for us, she's not crawling yet so there wasn't much chasing involved. : )

Kassi - Maternity

Kassi and David are seriously beautiful people. AND, they are some of the nicest people I've met! I can't wait to meet their baby girl in a few weeks! It will be fun to see if she's tiny like her mama, or tall like her daddy. My guess (from the size of Kassi's belly) is that she's going to be a petite little girl--at least in the beginning! Maternity sessions are so much fun--beautiful mommies, adoring dads, cute bellies, and talk of all things babies.

Presley

Seriously. Sometimes the hardest part of my job is choosing which pictures to put on the blog! Baby Presley has grown so much in the last 7 months since her newborn session. I adore those big beautiful eyes and that perfect round head. In honor of spring, I decided to break out the flower pot and hat . . . so glad I did! Presley was so happy just sitting there while I giggled and took pictures.

Asher

This sweet little guy is my nephew. His family came up from Utah to visit, so we snuck him in the studio for a few shots. These were taken the day after his 2nd birthday. Asher is talking now and it is so stinkin' cute. When they got to our house, he ran up the walk toward me saying "boots, boots!". So please take a moment to notice his new big boy boots in the next picture. Asher would love it. : )

Christian

This is Christian. He was 2 and 1/2 weeks old at his session and in no mood to snooze! But that's okay, because newborns are fun whether they are awake or asleep. His mommy did it all natural--and he was a 9 pounder! She actually teaches childbirth classes. I guess she practices what she preaches!

Ridge

Ridge is back for his 6 month session. It's always AMAZING to see how these babies grow and change. Sometimes they don't look anything like their newborn pics . . . which is why it's so important to grab those pictures before that teeny tiny baby is all grown up!

This boy was so happy for his entire session. No cries, just smiles and contentment. Part of the fun of my job is watching the parents as we take the pictures. The love they have for their little one is so apparent. I almost want to turn around and capture pictures of the parents' smiles, laughs, and awe at their beautiful kids!

Brighton

Brighton is 4 months old and she's such a happy baby. She smiled almost constantly and if she wasn't smiling, her expression was sweet and peaceful. Love the babies in my studio!!
