Beautiful Madeline was the perfect Christmas gift this year. She was born on Christmas Eve. Big brother Jack is handling the change like a champ and he was even cooperative for a picture with her--it's not every day that 2 year olds are in the mood for that! Madeline has the prettiest head of hair--and the cutest furry little shoulders.
First of all, I am LOVING her name. Ooh, it's a cute one. Secondly-- take a look at that smile in her daddy's hands . . . tongue sticking out and all. And thirdly, she was hands down the easiest newborn I've ever photographed. We finished her session in record time. Oh, and fourth--she didn't poop or pee on anything or anyone. Yay for Miss Ellison. Okay, and yay for me, too. : )
I wanted to get some one year old pics of her since she just had her birthday. Turns out she hates headbands, she detested the cute bead necklace, she was scared to death of the fluffy skirts and don't even think she was about to hold still for more than a fraction of a second. 
James came just in time to celebrate Christmas this year. There's nothing more fun at Christmas than having a new baby at home! His two older sisters will take such good care of him, I'm sure.
It was cccccold the day we stepped outside the studio for these pics. Aren't they cute!?!
And even though he's much bigger now, he's still as sweet as ever! Big beautiful eyes, and just the right amount of hair on top. I think we changed his clothes about 6 times and he was pretty patient through it all.
Little Macrae is the youngest of 4 kids, so I'm thinking he gets plenty of love and attention at his house! He was an angel baby for his session--I am in love with this first shot. Its so rustic and earthy. I know, I'm weird like that. : )
Eli just turned 2 and for his birthday, his mom and dad brought home a new little brother! Sweet gift - although some 2 year olds might not think so. : ) Eli is a happy, busy little guy who has the sweetest smiles.
This handsome little man is Dawson. He's the little brother to these cute kids. This boy was WIDE awake for his entire session. Okay, he slept for about 5 minutes, but even then it wasn't a true slumber. Little stinker. But he's a beautiful boy when he's awake, don't you think??
Two beautiful girls--and it's no surprise given how good looking their parents are! I love this first picture of little Gwendolyn. And this next one of Lilli--she was a rock star. She's a true girl--loved showing off for the camera.
When it comes to newborns, I love all the details. The wisps of hair, the curled fingers, the little toes. They are all so different, and so perfect.
