Do you know what the best part of hiring someone to photograph your birth story?  Capturing dad's expressions.  He's able to enjoy the experience . . . and then enjoy watching it over and over again.

Remi is ONE entire day old in these pics.  If I could, I would live at the hospital and photograph these new bits of heaven every day!!  Looking forward to having this sweetie pie in my studio soon.

I never tire of photographing newborns.  Especially super-new newborns in the hospital.  There's just something so special about a new life--it's exciting, yet sacred all at the same time.   

Bringing children into this world is a difficult journey--emotionally AND physically.  It's no wonder that mothers have such a special place in everyone's hearts.

Shauntae opted for a hospital session to accompany the childbirth session the day before. These images make me so very happy. Pure, real, and brand new! This first image is my most favorite. And like always, I just can't get enough of those sweet wrinkly feet!
